My thoughts:

This anticipated sequel sizzles with equal parts thriller, suspense and romance. A spine tingling story I could not put down.

And that's saying a lot. I don't usually pick up thriller/suspense novels, but because I read the first book in the series, WATCHED (which I absolutely loved), I couldn't help myself. Author Cindy M. Hogan did not disappoint me.  From beginning to end, the story drew me in. The characters, who I fell in love with previously, stayed true to form and took me on their journey with absolute perfection.

I highly recommend both WATCHED and PROTECTED and can't wait to see what Hogan comes up with next.
